Our Journey

Craft Silicon Foundation has a rich history of over a decade of service, transforming lives in Kenya and Uganda. In India, we began our journey in October 2021, focusing on underprivileged students in slum/village areas who lacked access to valuable digital and computer education. We understood that traditional education systems often left these students behind, but we were determined to change that.

Our flagship initiative, the "FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION BUS," has been a game-changer. This mobile classroom, equipped with 26 computers, air conditioning, and all necessary facilities, travels to underserved areas, bringing the gift of digital education directly to those who need it most. Our commitment to reaching the underprivileged has been unwavering, as we believe that education should be accessible to all, regardless of their financial circumstances.

In a short span, Craft Silicon Foundation has made a significant impact on the lives of over 14,000 individuals in India. We've conducted more than 10 batches of our Digital Literacy Program, catering to students aged 11 to 15 years, with special batches designed for women and youth. Through this program, we've opened doors to the world of science and technology, ensuring that even the most underprivileged individuals have the opportunity to learn basic computer skills. This knowledge empowers them to navigate the modern world with confidence and prepares them to contribute to India's scientific and technological progress.

Our Initiatives

Craft Silicon Foundation operates a range of impactful initiatives to uplift communities across India:

1. Free Digital Education on wheels: The mobile computer bus cum classroom provide digital education at door stop, the underprivileged area or area where ICTs absorption is very low.

Shikshamitra: Education is a collaborative effort, and we invite individuals from all walks of life to join hands with us through Shikshamitra. This platform connects passionate volunteers with eager learners, creating a dynamic learning ecosystem. Be a mentor, share your knowledge, and be a part of the change.

4. We Connect with the World: We arrange a science lecture with Practical, lectures on Different subjects like Health and hygiene of girls/women awareness. Also, anyone can join us to do scientific project and if needed CSF will provide necessary material to shape your ideas, we give a platform to the kids/students/youth who develop the science projects. i. Science Tour/lectures and projects : Science tours enhance children's development by fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world, igniting a lifelong passion for learning.

ii. Free Book Library: Our library is open to anyone, offering a wealth of books for study and leisure reading, including a curated list of motivational movies. Door-toDoor Library: At the time of Covid-19, we started this initiative to provide books for reading. We introduce 1- Minute Challenge to improve children's reading skills by appreciating them.

iii. And Much More: Craft Silicon Foundation is a hub of positive energy and transformative initiatives. From skill development workshops to community outreach programs, we are constantly working to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
