CSF Programs

Craft Silicon Foundation Conducts ICT training and Offers internet Services to the Poor and marginalized. A specialized ICT course is used to enable students achieve competence in basic ICT applications. A post training program in place ensures that successful candidates are monitored and guided through opportunities as well as facilitate advancement of education for the bright students.

The foundation is providing free training in Information Technology to the needy members of the community, working people and school children through the mobile computer bus. This is part of a campaign of promoting literacy, scientific, cultural and social improvement as a means of promoting development, peace and harmony.

Bright students who successfully complete the first stage of training are transferred to Craft silicon foundation Knowledge centre-a state of the art ICT centre that Promotes Innovation and advancement of ICT knowledge. Our Programs are running in majorly in the following areas in Nairobi

• Kawangware
• Kibera
• Kangemi
• Mathare
• Huruma
• Viwandani
• Mukuru Nyayo.

Our Achievements

• Over 5500 youths have benefited from the training and secured employment or started small IT related businesses after completing the program.
• Over 600 students currently enrolled in the program.
• Over 100 students have joined Craft Silicon Foundation Knowledge centre for ICT advancement.
• Craft Silicon Foundation has participated in several major ICT conferences in the country and has even managed to win the Best ICT innovation award (AITEC ICT SUMMIT) for its Community based ICT Project.
